Chelsea Gillis, St. John's Community Post #1179

Chelsea Gillis is an active member of St. John's Community Post #1179 and was Provincial Vice President for 2009-2010. Prior to being elected to the Provincial Executive, Chelsea held the position of Post President and other executive positions at a Post level. Chelsea is a positive, outgoing individual who has a passion for everything that she does! She plans to attend Memorial University in September 2010. Allied Youth Newfoundland & Labrador is fortune to have Chelsea continue her involvement with the organization as she has been recently elected to the position of Member-At-Large on the Provincial A.Y. Advisory Committee.

The Ralph Davis Memorial Allied Youth Educational Scholarship is awarded to an individual currently registered as an A.Y. member. The applicant must be enrolled and currently completing Level III at a high school within the province and must be planning to pursue post secondary education. The scholarship is awarded based on application each year during Provincial Conference.
